Google announced: They are removing the safe browsing signal from the google page experience update. Google says, “We recognize that the issues are not always under the control of the site owners; that is why we’re clearing your doubts that safe browsing is not used as a ranking signal and won’t be featuring in the page experience report.”
We remind you that the page experience update has been rolling out since June 15th and will continue to roll out through the end of this month.
At google, safe browsing systems are designed to keep every user safe on the web. Sometimes it is seen that sites may fall victim to third-party hijacking that can cause safe browsing warnings to be surfaced. We have recognized that the issues are not always under site owners, so any flags which are safe browsing will continue to be appeared in the search console, i.e., outside of the page report.
Similarly, we’re removing the widget related to the Ad experience to avoid the exact appearing details on two parts of the search console. The Ad experience report will still be available as a standalone tool that will help you review the status of your website and identify the ad experiences that may violate the better ads standards.
To be very clear, the experience Ad report was never used as an element for the experience of the page, so don’t worry! These new changes won’t affect your website’s page experience status.
