Facebook has provided its updated verification guidelines for Facebook
After the Tweeter’s recent update about its verification guidelines, the Facebook application has rolled out its new approach for verification. And clarifies the requirement for the blue check on the application.
Facebook has provided clarification about its blue tick verification, which are as follows –
Verification is how the users can identify the account to which they are following or searching for are exactly who they are. It’s a way in which users can determine whether the account they are following is an authentic account or not.
Facebook further states that the blue tick is not any kind of endorsement, and nor thus, Facebook considers it a symbol of importance.
Facebook provides basic guidelines to qualify for the blue tick verification for Instagram and Facebook, which are as follows-
Basically, having a large audience is not sufficient. Users must also have a media presence or a specific status on which the Facebook team can check the eligibility of the blue tick.
So obviously, the majority of the verified audience is famous and also their content.
Facebook also considers that the Verified profile does not change their account name or transfers the account to an entirely different person or organization.
There is no doubt that Facebook is taking extra care of the verification process. This is basically to avoid the fraudsters that can take hold of the blue tick verification. It was necessary to keep stringent benchmarks for the blue tick verification.
